What to Do With the Kids Now that School’s Out (June 22-24)

Welcome to the weekend – and the official start of summer vacation for all those school-age kiddos! If you know someone trying to keep kids of any age entertained this summer, be sure to let them know about Pickle Planet! We’ll be enjoying some time in the sun ourselves (watch for updates from our PEI excursion this weekend), but we’ll keep bringing you lots of great content along the way – including our weekend round ups!

Our thanks this week to Canadian Blood Services for sponsoring this weekend’s awesome list of what to do with the kids in the Greater Moncton Area.

Did you know that the clinic is open six days a week, at various times each day, to accommodate as many people’s schedules as possible? It’s even open in the afternoon on Monday, July 2 – which is a holiday for many people, making it a great chance to head in and donate if work (or a partner being at work) keeps you away. If you stop in that day, you might even catch us there! Organ donation, blood donation, stem cell donation, contributions of time and money – there is much more to supporting the work of Canadian Blood Services than just giving blood, too. Find out more on their website, including details on who can donate what and when, as well as the ability to book your appointment today.

In Conclusion …

As always, a reminder that this is a round up of weekend family-friendly events in the Greater Moncton Area. We do our best to find as many events as possible; if you’re hosting something that fits, please send us a message via our Facebook Page to ensure we know about it. If you’re looking for more ideas, we have a MEGA LIST that includes links to local attractions and businesses; you may also want to check out our Playground Profiles to discover a new-to-you place to play.

We spend several hours each week creating these round ups and other resources, which we share with you freely. We’d really appreciate if you in turn shared with your family & friends – it really helps us out! We’d also love for you to let businesses know you found out about them because of Pickle Planet – and let them know we offer several advertising opportunities, such us sponsoring this round up that reaches thousands of local families each week. Huge thanks again to Canadian Blood Services for their support of this weekend’s round up. Now, it’s your chance to support them.
