Dieppe’s weekly Fun on Ice takes place Friday night. Enjoy skating on the oval, bonfires, and the music of Old School by Place 1604.
Riverview’s Winter Carnival is in full swing, with lots of great events happening for all ages and interests. Friday includes a free showing of Coco, there’s a free swim on Saturday, and the annual Sausage, Pancake, and Bean Supper Saturday night. The annual Kiddie Karnival takes place on Sunday at the Community Hall (Lakeside Drive) – adults and children under two are free, kids ages three to 12 are charged $5. There will be inflatables, carnival games, face painting, and more. Looking for a tasty outing this weekend? Check out some of the 14 amazing burgers on offer for the first Flip Burger Festival! These burgers are on feature for just 10 tens, so you’ll have to work fast to try them all!
Memramcook is also celebrating its Winter Carnival with a family fun day planned for Saturday, an ice show, snow shoe race, square dance, and much more!
Salisbury’s Winter Carnival kicks off this weekend and runs until the 17th, with a pond hockey tournament and a firelight walk in Highland Park planned this weekend.
Dorchester’s Winter Family Fun Day takes place Saturday, with pick up hockey games, sledding, snow shoeing, bonfires, and a community dinner.
Saturday is also Winter Carnival day in Riverside-Albert, with events at the recreation centre from 10am until 4pm. The fun includes a puppet show, crafts, photo booth, face painting, balloon animals, and more!
The Moncton Public Library is hosting a musical story time on Saturday morning and a kids’ craft session in the afternoon.
Chapters Moncton is holding a ‘heartfelt’ storytime and DIY craft session Saturday morning at 11am.
The Minions are on the big screen for the $2.99 Family Favourites movie this weekend.
Resurgo Place has two great offers this Saturday, both included with admission (as well as the awesome traveling exhibit). Constructive Destruction takes place in the morning and encourages you to learn how something is made by taking it apart. In the afternoon, there’s a rocket boat craft available.

Saturday afternoon the family can enjoy a free screening of The Lorax at the Sackville library.
U de M’s drama program is holding Arendelle on Ice on Saturday! Stop by the skating oval in Dieppe between 2pm and 4pm and 5:30pm to 7:30pm to skate with characters from the movie Frozen.
The Moncton Magic host the Cape Breton Highlanders on Saturday night at the Coliseum. On Sunday afternoon, they’ll welcome the Island Storm.
The New Brunswick Youth Orchestra performs Saturday night at the Moncton Wesleyan Celebration Centre.
NatureKidsNB is holding a Winter Tracking Walk in Sackville on Sunday morning. You’re asked to register in advance; this is a free event.
Riverview’s Bricks 4 Kidz is holding two Valentine’s Day themed workshops on Sunday morning, based on ages. Check them out!
That Art Thing is back at Riverview Superstore for another kids painting workshop this Sunday. It’s a fabulous way to encourage and inspire creativity! (Pre-registration is required at the store.) Check out our photos from the first session in January!
